Dr. Bhattarai has extensive expertise in climate change, REDD+, community-based natural resource management, environmental planning, watershed management and climate finance. Over the years, he has contributed to a wide range of national and international initiatives involving government agencies, research institutions, development partners, and the private sector. He is also a published researcher with peer-reviewed contributions in areas such as community benefit-sharing, agroforestry, forest conservation economics, and REDD+ .
